Embraer Phenom

First Phenom 300 Executive Jet performs maiden flight

The Embraer Phenom 300 successfully took to the air on its maiden flight on 29 April from the Company’s Gavião Peixoto test runway. In the coming months, the first Phenom 300, serial number 99801, will participate in the flight test campaign along with three additional Phenom 300 jets.

The Embraer Phenom fly by wire flight controls manufactured by Parker Aerospace incorporate Eurofarad PM94 polyester film capacitors supplied by Allied International's Military and Aerospace Products Division. The PM94 capacitors replace ceramic capacitors because of their greater reliability in critical applications coupled with lighter weight and lower cost.
